All students receive two physical education classes each week. Two important aspects of the physical education classes are total student involvement and cooperation within the group. The “Project Fit” program is incorporated within the curriculum and students are tested two times during the school year to monitor their fitness levels. Guests join the classes for demonstrations in aerobics, Jump Stretch, karate, and volleyball.
The lower grades receive instruction in jump rope, skipping, and throwing skills and all grades participate in games such as kickball and dodge ball (with variations), steal-the-baton, steal-the-ball, roller-skating, and sideline soccer.
