Rev. Timothy O'Neill: Pastor



FATHER TIMOTHY O'NEILL

      The charismatic Father Tim O'Neill is the Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Hubbard.  He is known for instituting the Stewardship Parish concept, invigorating Marriage Encounter and reintroducing "Christ Renews His Parish".  Father Tim attended St. Brendan School and then graduated from Ursuline High School in 1958.  He entered St. Gregory Seminary in 1958 and completed his priesthood studies at Mount St. Mary Seminary in Cincinnati.  He was ordained on May 27, 1967.  He received his master's degree in guidance counseling from Xavier University and has done post-graduate work at St. Louis University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of San Francisco.


      He has served as an Assistant Pastor for St. Michael Parish in Canton, a theology teacher at Cardinal Mooney High School and as the Pastor at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in New Middletown.

      Father O'Neill has presented Marriage Encounter weekends nationwide and has served on district, regional, and national boards of International Marriage Encounter.  He continues his volunteer work at The Neil Kennedy Chemical Abuse Recovery Center.  He is the co-founder and chairperson of The Difference Makers, a charitable, non-profit organization devoted to helping the underprivileged, especially children.
