ARDAITH HAMROCK

Mrs. Hamrock is a graduate of YSU with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She is certified to teach elementary grades 1-8 as well as Special Education in grades K-12.  She is continuing her education with 11 hours in the Administrative Masters program from Ursuline College.  Her continuing education also consists of over 200 hours in religious education.  She is the school's union representative to the Diocesan Confederation of Teachers.

Mrs. Hamrock has worked in the Youngstown City Schools as a Special Education teacher as well as a Preschool Aide and a third grade teacher.  This is her 16th year at St. Patrick School and says this is her "home".  She enjoys traveling with her family and gardening.  She also opens her home each year to house hockey players from the Phantoms Hockey team.  She has four children, three boys and a daughter, who live in various locations around the country and the world.

She enjoys teaching at the school because of the tradition of education offered to the students as well as the atmosphere of care and concern shown by the parents, students, and staff.  Mrs. Hamrock hopes that her students become educated, caring individuals who willingly contribute positively to both their parish community and society.
