RITA GONTARUK

      Mrs. Gontaruk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Youngstown State University and a Master's degree in Education and a Principal Certification from Ursuline College.  She has taught at St. Patrick School for twenty-four years and has been the principal for the past seven years.  Mrs. Gontaruk attended St. Patrick School as a student as did her mother and ten brothers and sisters.  She also attended Ursuline High School.

      Her five children and two granddaughters live throughout the country; Texas, California, Florida, and Boston.  Her oldest daughter is a missionary nurse in Uganda, Africa.  Her hobbies include reading, bowling, golfing, and traveling to visit her children.  She is the housemother for young high school men who attend Ursuline High School and play hockey for the Mahoning Valley Phantoms.
