ELIZABETH CORBETT

      Elizabeth Corbett is a graduate of Youngstown State University majoring in Elementary Education.  She has a minor in Music Performance.  She belongs to two educational organizations that include TARC and NSTA (National Science Teachers Association).  Mrs. Corbett began teaching a St. Patrick School in 2000.  She teaches 5 - 8 Science and K - 8 computer classes.

      Her family has a long history with St. Patrick School and Parish.  Her grandpa, stepfather, and younger sister all attended St. Patrick School.  Growing up, she was able to see first hand what a wonderful institution the school was and continues to be.  She chooses to stay at St. Patrick because it is not just a job or paycheck to her.  The students, families, and staff have become her "school family".

      In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.  Her hobbies include scrap booking, reading, going to the movies, and gardening.  Her household includes six cats that provide constant entertainment along with a chinchilla who "tolerates" the cats' poking and playful nature!  She hopes to provide her students with a solid educational foundation and good life and social skills as well.
